Description
I wanted to illustrate the feeling I get when I dive amongst the thick kelp forests around Cape Town. It’s a magical forest environment with brilliant coloured inhabitants. Every rock and crevice is full of life, the light that filters down through the canopy and is amazing. I first located the bright red starfish and then spent the whole dive waiting for a red roman to swim into the frame. I was aiming to add a splash of colour to the scene and contrast nicely with the brown kelp and green water.
